on the 21st february, Both Banglalink and Grameen Phone aired their ads to highlight the significance of the language Bangla, our mother tongue. While Grammen ad showed a very touchy story, Banglalink again sucked by pulling up a clumsy idea. I don’t get where do these guys get such bad scripts? In the banglalink ad, they pictured a world without language. Now how bad that could be! 21 February does not mean a world without words or letters. It at best means a world without a language you love most, your mother tongue. I am not judging only this single ad, Banglalink is always pulling the wrong leg. they are so annoying at times. the composition, the background voice the books without letters.. where do they get this idea? They perhaps tried to create over-sentiment, if that is the case, then they are successful.
On the otherhand, Grammen ads are always precise and delicate. They had a ad where they showed how we break down when our country loses in cricket, and how we unite up when our boys put up decent show. in their latest 21st February ad campaign, they showed few little village boys stealing flowers to pay homage to our martyrs. the background music is equally tuned up. I am not associated with Grameen or Banglalink, so don’t get me wrong. Its just what I want to say. Banglalink, please cut the craps off. don’t create over-emotional pictures with baseless topics.
