Beethi and Shihab Engaged

My esteem friends, Beethi and Shihab, were engaged last Thursday. It had been a very long journey for them with so many turns and twists. At the end we got another successful couple in our School friend circle. Not very often you have same friend circle from class one and ultimately have 2/3 marriages in side the circle.

They have already booked Senakunja on 22nd August for their marriage reception. We all wish them a very happy conjugal life.

Moved to Uttara

After almost 27 years, we moved out of New Airport and settled in Uttara. In fact my whole life I stayed in that single location, and my mind was already set to accept new airport to be the place where I actually belong. In first few days, I had problem in sleeping and adjusting my mindset with the new home. But now, it feels more comfortable to stay in Uttara, one reason is the availability of car parking in the apartment, which I did not have in my New Airport home.

My cousin Ira and her family shifted to our old house, and we left our collection of books to Ridoy. Our new address is House no: 82, Road no: 01, Sector no: 12, Uttara model town. We have already bought some furniture and now the new apartment is almost decorated.

Arrived Chennai Safely

This evening I got down from Koromondol Mail after a big yet comfortable journey to Chennai from Kolkata. I left Bangladesh on 10 November 2007 and last three days its all journey. I am yet to taste Chennai foods but the look of the shops are not very encouraging, All foods seem to have full of masalas.

I Will visit Apollo hospital tomorrow with my mom. the detail story of journey will be published in explore my world section once I get some time. Bye for now.

Flood in our area

Our area is now flood affected. Today, water is flowing one foot above the road. Flood has not come up as a threat yet of crossing our gate, but its still very creepy to move along the roads full of water. By the way, Water is super clear here in this part of the city, you can actually see fishes playing around your feet while walking in the road!

My mom learns Bangla typing

Just yesterday I took my mom to the PC for the first time in her life to learn typing. and inevitably I guided her to best Bangla phonetic software Avro. Avro new version is out and users don’t need anything more to read and write Bangla in the web and in the local PC. It automatically installs Bangla font, and adjusts the System setting, all my mom had to do is click it to Bangla, and start writing. With only one hour training, she is now very fluent, and planning to write Bangla in big scale.

InshaAllah, very soon my website will be graced with her own biography.

Download Avro from Omicornlab or from here.
