Reunion 2007

batch picture

This February, I had a reunion in our Cadet college, and met most of my Bangladeshi friends. This was really a pick of flow, and great outing for me. I met many of my friends and seniors. Had I not been there, I would have not known how close we all cadets are still today. I may be a out of flock guy, but nice to see that I have so many friends who are still very much caring for me. I am proud to be a member of MCC!

Grameen Ad vs Banglalink Ad

on the 21st february, Both Banglalink and Grameen Phone aired their ads to highlight the significance of the language Bangla, our mother tongue. While Grammen ad showed a very touchy story, Banglalink again sucked by pulling up a clumsy idea. I don’t get where do these guys get such bad scripts? In the banglalink ad, they pictured a world without language. Now how bad that could be! 21 February does not mean a world without words or letters. It at best means a world without a language you love most, your mother tongue. I am not judging only this single ad, Banglalink is always pulling the wrong leg. they are so annoying at times. the composition, the background voice the books without letters.. where do they get this idea? They perhaps tried to create over-sentiment, if that is the case, then they are successful.

Long Time No See

Last night I was counting, how many are there whom I have not seen (that also includes not having heard of) for a long time but cherish to see always? I am not counting those whom I like but not feel that they are far away from me. In other words, some of my friends, colleagues or relatives are very touchy when we meet and I really enjoy their company to hang out, but they never seem like departed from my eyesight. And some others, who may be not close at all, or I may barely know the name, feels like they are thousand miles away; they are my 'long time no see'. They have somehow made a tunnel in my heart which can only be filled if I meet them one more time.

Very busy day on 21st February

Yesterday (21 Feb) We went to Ekushe Boimela at the afternoon. Tania, Neela and Ripon were with me. But unfortunately we could not enter the DU campus because it was very crowdy. it took almost 1hour and 30 minutes to reach to shahbag, and we decided that enough is enough, lets move out of campus as soon as possible. then we went to Basundhara City, and Stayed there for 3 hours.

whenI got back to my home, I was very tired and fever was all over me. Today in office, I can barely do anything and Now at lunch period, I can not even sit in my chair. I think I will take a leave.

My Fridays

Yesterday was a Friday and my only holiday is a week. throughout the working days I plan so many things and arrange meeting with a number of people. But always, I end up meeting none. I wake at seven and hope for a busy day. And I end up with only outing to my gym in the whole day.

Birth of a new driver

After lots of trouble, now I can claim that I can drive. I always have been very slow learner in terms of Machinaries, vehicles and electronics, so it took a long time. I am still not sure if I can drive in long roads (like Dhaka-Chittagong) but in the metropolitan ares I can drive now almost without flaws.
