I am not sure how many of my friends wake up in the everyday morning and anticipate a change would come to their daily life. But I do wish it every day, and every night I dream of a change may occur in next day in my life. I lead no monotonous life, and I don’t do repeated work in my job. I do attend gym, study for myself, design web application as consultant, play latest PC games and watch recent flicks on DVD always, everyday. Like last one week, I did not even have time to sleep or watch TV for 5 minutes. But still, life means so charmless at times that I lose the hope and anticipation to step to the next day.

17th March will probably remain in my heart for a long time. I knew that Bangladesh will put up a very handy fight, but could not dare to think that we will win against mighty India. I left the office late and was afraid that I might see Bangladesh is already 2/3 wicket down before I sit in front of my TV. But when I reached my home, my mom said India is already one wicket down. First I thought that my mom mistook Bangladesh as India, but no.. it was India batting first with one wicket down!. My goodness what a start!

Yesterday (09/02/07) I was in my cadet college. Actually I passed my night in cadet college! after 9 years from passing out, this is my first night at college. I arrived at college at 3:30 PM and planned that I will come back within 5 PM. But Inside, what I saw was surprising. there must be 800/900 people inside the program arena. I found 80% of my classmates there, including my one of the closest friends Monjur and Shahriar (of course I am not considering those who were out of the country or cut contacts with cadet college.)

Today I am uploading another poem. This one also based on a theme and played with metaphor. I wrote it at class Ten, so same maturity reflected in the poem. This poem has notable use of 'Onupras' which means a consequent series of words starting with same letter to create phonetic rhyme.

I used to write poems in my childhood, mostly because of those house competitions in cadet college. These poems were nothing to fancy about, and I forgot about them mostly. Few days back I got my rusted old notebook of my college days and those poems amused me quite a bit. All of them were in style of '14 letters per line' and with ' onto-mil'. And as in class Ten we had many insightful poems for theme explanation in our bangla 2nd paper course, almost all my poems were composed in that fashion, using metaphors.

Yesterday night, Bangladesh played their first warm up match against Newzeland. the match started at 8:30 PM and since it was not tele-casted, no one could see it. I waited up to 1 AM to get the latest update, and last we heard that Bangladesh has to make 227 to win the match.

Today morning I was feeling very bad for some reason. I heard that my friend for last three years has lied a lot about me to her Australian friend and to her all relatives. In such moment, I heard this great news of Bangladesh’s win. Newzeland was always there to criticize Bangladesh for lowering the standard of cricket.So overall it feels great! About the world cup, I think we should definitely plan for Rasel to include in the squad. I am optimistic but not sure if there is any more upset in the horizon. I pray to Allah that may Bangladesh win 2 match in the group and advance to the super Eight.
