About Me

Writing about me is not as easy as I thought.  By now, you may have noticed that my name is Nazmul Hasan Sharif and my friends call me Rasel. Born in 30 October 1980, I passed my childhood in Mirzapur Cadet College, a pathway to armed force where curriculum was mostly based on sports. From then, my passion is sports. I was awarded best player in Annual athletics in my final year of cadet life. I could afford very little space for my studies, since I always used to play or plan game tactics with my gang. Thanks to Allah, still I never had to face real problem in academic.

Then in 1999 I enrolled in IBA, DU and Started to look at my career. Prior to IBA, I had a plan to become Marine Engineer, solely because I love traveling. Just before joining Marine academy, my friend Ashim asked me to accompany him in his upcoming IBA admission test. Annoyed to miss the local club match, we both went to Dhaka University on a foggy morning. Who knew that it will shape my future! Now I am an corporate executive and see the ocean only in television.

I usually work late hours and try not to keep anything pending for the next day. I work more than 60 hours per week, so I get little time for myself. So in normal circumstances, I only have free times in the weekdays and during these holidays, I don’t do anything but enjoy myself. Usually I play Cricket or watch it in the television; and I love this game by heart. In our country Cricket is the synonym of passion, majority of population is totally mad for it and it is our one of the rare sources for joy and pride. Though I have passed my fantasizing days and stopped thinking about being cricketer, I can’t take cricket out of my life.

I watch movies whenever I can make some room in my daily routine. I mostly watch movies in foreign language other than English. I like French, Italian, Iranian and Latin American movies most. Movies give me refreshment and food for thought. I used to travel a lot in my student days, and my only motivation was to see more and more people of different races, of different colors and of different backgrounds. Somehow I find it fascinating how people from different part of the world express, feel and respond to each other. The movies of these countries deal with unique plots and situations and their cinematography involve internal feelings of the characters, more silence and less words.

Apart from watching Cricket or Cinema I don’t have many things to mention. I like website designing and I get paid as freelance website designer. I buy and study every book and software I find related to web designing in my free time. I Like the idea of movie making and do a lot of editing and mixing stuff. Don’t be surprised if one day I hit the big one!

Let’s start talking big mouth about me since no one will do it here for me. I think the great thing about me is I always eat when I am hungry. If I see it’s raining, I try to use umbrella which impresses most of the observers. I don’t want to give details of my merit, I wont even let you know that I am irresistible to woman and deadly to enemies; and it’s unnecessary to discuss that how ruthless I am against injustice and how kind hearted I am to the poor. You will know someday.
